PARK, Platform for Visual Arts in Tilburg, is looking for a Business Leader (15 hours per week) from 1 September 2025.

About PARK
PARK is a platform for contemporary visual arts, organised by and for artists. PARK is a foundation with a board and a working group consisting of four artists (Rob Moonen, Linda Arts, René Korten and Lieve van den Bijgaart), and an education officer (Jet Pronk). The working group annually realises 5 to 6 exhibitions by emerging and mid-career (inter)national artists, focusing on current themes and interdisciplinary research. Education, deepening and public activities such as artist talks and film evenings are an integral part of our programme.
PARK was founded more than 10 years ago and is now in a forward-looking and sustainable transition, striving to hand over equally to a younger generation.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enterprising and independent professional with:
Knowledge of finance, fundraising and organisational processes in the cultural sector.
Experience in project management, planning and budget monitoring.
Affinity with contemporary visual arts and understanding of the needs of artists, visitors and the team.
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
HBO-work and thinking level and preferably experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of the Fair Practice Code, Diversity & Inclusion, and Governance Code Culture.
Preferably living in the Tilburg region.

What will you do?
As business leader, you will work closely with the working group. There is a weekly meeting in which mutual agreements are made with the working group. PARK has a remote board, and it is the task of the business leader to maintain contact with the board. The volunteers are managed by the volunteer coordinator.

As Business Leader, you will be responsible for:
Business and financial policies and business management based on the multi-year plan 2025-2028.
Grant applications, fundraising and liaising with sponsors and grant providers.
Financial reporting, annual accounts and accountability to funds and grantors.
Contracts with artists and monitoring budgets.
Agenda and schedule board meetings.
Coordinating exhibitions, transport, PR and in-depth activities.
