VACATURE ONDERNEMEND KUNSTENAAR

VACATURE ONDERNEMEND KUNSTENAAR

job vacancy at PARK Foundation
application close on 15.09 2026

The PARK Foundation in Tilburg is looking for an enthusiastic ‘entrepreneurial artist’ to strengthen and further develop our organisation. Over the years, the PARK Foundation has established itself in the Tilburg area as both a platform for artists and a partner in the Museum Quarter. PARK wishes to build on this position. Wilhelminapark, where PARK is based, offers more space and opportunities for distinctive art. The connection with Tilburg as a city of creators is essential in this regard.

What will you be doing

As an ‘entrepreneurial artist’, you will have overall responsibility for the continuity and development of the PARK Platform for Visual Arts Foundation. You are a member of the PARK Foundation’s artistic working group and make a substantive contribution to it. Together, you will be responsible for PARK’s artistic direction. You are well-connected within the cultural sector in Tilburg and the surrounding area and will ensure that the PARK Foundation maintains a high profile. You will engage with new art initiatives and are not afraid to take the lead in them.

You keep in touch with new developments in the arts so that the PARK Foundation can maintain and build upon its position as a key artists’ initiative. You bring these developments to the PARK Foundation, thereby also connecting organisations and artists with them and strengthening Tilburg’s cultural infrastructure.

You will draw up (multi-year) grant applications and be responsible for monitoring and reporting within PARK and to funding bodies. The annual reporting forms part of this process.

Within the PARK Foundation, you will be the point of contact and will ensure that activities take place in accordance with the agreements. This includes organisation, planning and budgeting.

You will become the cornerstone and the face of the PARK Foundation.

What do you have to offer?

You have a keen sense of developments in the visual arts, as you are also active as a
professional artist in your own right and wish to continue practising your art.

You are familiar with the cultural sector and, above all, are enterprising and communicative. You are able to act strategically but are also not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. An affinity for administration, marketing and PR is an advantage. After all, we are a city of creators.

You are available for 12 to 15 hours per week and can organise your hours flexibly.

What does the PARK Foundation offer?

We adhere to the Guidelines on Job and Salary Structures for Visual Arts Exhibition Venues.
Flexible working hours.
An inspiring and creative working environment.
Opportunities for personal development.
