Najiba Abdellaoui participates in the KOMMA program. She has a short working period at PARK and responds to the exhibition Quadrilogue.
Najiba Abdellaoui (1981) is a poet, writer, and city poet of Tilburg, born in the Netherlands and partly raised in Morocco. Inspired by the books she read and by hip-hop, she began writing poems and rap lyrics at the age of 11, with which she went on to win several awards. In 2008, she became the first woman to win the Dutch National Poetry Slam Championship.
Jasper Stadhouders is also making a KOMMA inspired by the exhibition. On Saturday 17 December, they will both present their interdisciplinary maker's commentary.
