Berendine Venemans participates in the KOMMA program. She has a short working period at PARK and responds to the exhibition Breather.
Berendine (1991) is a performance artist, video maker, and poet. She focuses on creating experiential art, art that is meant to be felt rather than understood. She says about her work: “I am endlessly fascinated by humanity and the human process of growth. As a learned perfectionist, things like vulnerability, falling down, and getting back up are not unfamiliar to me. At a certain point, I had to face the fact that it was unsustainable. In my search to understand and learn to deal with my own humanity, I discovered a deep love for it.”
The duo Teleport is also making a KOMMA inspired by the exhibition. On Saturday 13 December, they will both present their interdisciplinary maker's commentary.
Starts at 3.30 pm. Admission free, welcome!
