In her work, Ruta Butkute explores 'how to make sculpture move'. Over the years, she has developed a medium she calls 'sculptural performance'. For the exhibition, she has developed an installation as well as a performance that focuses on animating the sculptures, showing visitors possibilities of moving and walking around the objects.
The performance titled 'Collide' was performed at the opening on 4 March by Yurie Umamoto. The performance will be repeated on Saturday 8 April at 4pm. This is also the last day of the exhibition. You are most welcome, admission is free.
