Come and celebrate the new year with us during the finissage and New Year's drink on Sunday January 12 from 4 to 6pm. The young violinist and singer Claire Adams will give a short performance at 4.30 pm.
Claire Adams grew up in Valencia as a child of Dutch parents. She came to the Netherlands to study here. In 2018 she completed her studies in violin at the Tilburg conservatory and in 2020 she will combine her studies in classical singing with a part-time philosophy study. She recently won the Jacques de Leeuw prize. Her interest in newly composed music and her urge to experiment led her to a striking idea: combining both her talents in a duet with herself. Playing the violin and singing at the same time is an incredible task. In the two compositions that she performs in PARK, this duet is a starting point. The compositions are by Imre Ploeg and Ximo Tarín-Micó.
This is the second concert that PARK is organizing in collaboration with De Link.
It is also the last day on which Unter Nachbarn can be visited, our exhibition by Ronald de Bloeme (NL/DE) and Olaf Holzapfel (DE) who work as friends in the same studio complex in Berlin.
