An evening curated by Esther Kokmeijer as part of the Glacial Fire exhibition featuring short documentary films where (glacial) ice plays the leading role.
The program includes standalone short films as well as excerpts from documentaries such as Encounters at the End of the World by Werner Herzog. In this film, Herzog traveled to Antarctica to speak with scientists and adventurers about their work, offering insight into their unique community. This poetic documentary provides a remarkable reflection on the grandeur of nature.
