Anne Parlevliet has extensive experience in the cultural sector, both in artistic and administrative roles. She has held several board positions at cultural institutions, such as De Link and Buma Stemra. She also worked as office manager at the Paradox music venue in Tilburg. Prior to that, she was active for many years as a composer for dance and theatre productions.
The combination of an artistic background, organisational expertise and financial knowledge makes her ideally suited to manage PARK's business affairs and further develop the organisation in the coming years. With her extensive network and dedication to contemporary art, she fits in seamlessly with PARK's mission to provide space for experimentation, talent development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
"As someone born and raised in Tilburg, living in the Museum Quarter, I have known PARK for quite some time. It is valuable to have such a beautiful place where professional artists can meet and show their work. I am fascinated by visual art, especially its layered and autonomous nature. After years of experience in music, I am looking forward to working with an enthusiastic team and committed volunteers to further professionalise PARK and ensure a vibrant artistic climate in Tilburg."
