Jade van den Hout (1993) is active as a performer, teacher and creator, alternating between different activities but always recurring to dance and being curious about interaction and being human. She completed herdance training in 2014 and continued her studies in the Fighting Monkey Practice. For the past ten years she has been part of The100hands, in which she focuses on interactive performances.
At the moment she focuses on her research Cracking the Shell of Dance, a search for the origin of motivation to dance. She strives to create creative environments for new encounters and connections, in which you can reflect together with a public or co-dancers. Communication and the sensory physical experience are central here.
Jade reacts to the exhibition 'Dear awkwardness,' by Ana Navas. The performance is on Saturday, April 6 at 3.30 pm.
