Izah Hankammer (1995) is a Filipino-German dancer, performer. In 2020 she graduated from Fontys School of Arts in Contemporary Dance, and received the Jacques de Leeuw Prize. During her studies she collaborated on various projects in Germany, Australia, Italy and the Netherlands, where she started working with United Cowboys. She continued her career at Meyer-Chaffaud Dance Company and during this period started making her own work together with Lucas Devroe under the name moOv. They became part of Makershuis Tilburg and followed a research program within DansBrabant. Her practice focuses on the different facets of movement and performance, and how they can be approached in different disciplines and mediums. In addition to her work as a dancer/performer in performances, she has also appeared as an actress in various film and video projects such as Doll House (Netflix/Marla Ancheta, 2022), Als Uw Gat Maar Lacht (De Productie/Dick Verdult, 2023) and Opaque (Head Under Water). She currently works as a dancer and performer at Action Zoo Humain, Nicole Beutler Projects and United Cowboys.
