Celine Werkhoven (1990) calls herself a dance artist, choreographer and singer with a love for movement, sound and visual art. In recent years she has increasingly focused on her own artistic language, both independently and in collaboration with the SKYPUNCH COLLECTIVE, of which she is a co-founder. This results in performances that are not confined to just one form or discipline and always speak to more than one ofthe senses.
Her latest research revolves around finding a synergy between movement, sound and space, in which each element fuels the next. Through poetic images and sounds she shows her view onwhat it means to be human, both on a deeply personal and on a collective scale, often with a touch of wonderment, humor and sensitivity.
Celine reacts to the exhibition 'Rewriting The Future'. The performance is on Saturday, February 10 at 3.30 pm.
