Honey, Don't Spill! brings a rich and varied full-evening programme to PARK. In doing so, the company around choreographer-performer Sarah Prescimone makes a sizzling statement.
An important part of the evening is Temper, the company's new piece. In Temper, the four performers take us on a journey through various ways of being. A temperament is essentially a basic personality trait. This quartet explores the verbal and non-verbal interactions between the four temperaments from classical theory (Choleric, Melancholic, Phlegmatic, Sanguine).
Sarah Prescimone's explosive yet calm choreographic signature makes it a total experience with a quirky mix of spoken language and body sound combined with diverse movement systems including urban, experimental, Butoh, and martial arts like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
In addition to this new piece by the company, expect solo work by Sarah herself. She will go into short residency in PARK's space in the days leading up to the evening and will present the outcome.
Other performers will also make their appearance. Keep an eye out for further announcements!
