As part of the Crosslab module, students from the Fontys Academy of Fine Arts Tilburg are doing a project on the occasion of Razia Barsatie's Summer Residency. The students support Barsatie in her artistic research and delve into the stories about and around Peerke Donders. In a two-week working period, they collect stories and information (objects, photos, written memories, audio recordings, video interviews, etc.) and then create new work in response to these.
Barsatie wants to see different approaches and interpretations of the stories/sources reflected, and she may use this material as part of her installation in PARK.
UPDATE:
The students have been working in groups to find a lot of information and incorporate the material and insights into appealing images. After completion of Crosslab on 5 July, in particular student Dena Jawhar remains involved in the project and makes an important contribution to the pilgrimage as the completion of Razia's residency on 19 August.
