From 18 June to 18 August, PARK offers one artist who lives within a radius of 150 km from Tilburg the opportunity to work for 8 weeks.

PARK is a non-commercial stage for visual arts in Tilburg where experimental approaches are encouraged. PARK has an floorspace of approximately 250 m² and offers a program of exhibitions, performances, workshops, discussions and concerts. It is an 8-minute walk from the central station. Museum de Pont and TextielMuseum are good neighbours. PARK focuses on solo and group exhibitions by young and mid-career artists. In addition, the space is regularly used as a place of production. An annual artist's residence in the summer period is part of the program.

The call is open to artists living in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany who live within 150 km of Tilburg and who are willing to respond with their work on the space and context of PARK. The selected artist will have the opportunity to stay at PARK for eight weeks and to work on a submitted plan.

He / she will receive an all-in budget of € 1000,- for this working period. This budget includes all costs such as travel and material costs, catering and fees. The artist can be housed by PARK in the center of Tilburg for the duration of the period.

The working period ends with a short presentation that will be created in consultation with the artist.

The application must be made digitally and can be sent in pdf (maximum file size 5 mb) to No loose pictures, texts etc. The application deadline is 21 April 2019.

- Copy of ID
- Portfolio / documentation of recent work
- Work plan and motivation (max 1 A-4)

Applications that do not comply with the above will not be considered. Publication follows in the second week of May. There will be no correspondence about the outcome.
